Restoring Individual Files or Directories Using the File and Directory Restoration Tool in cPanel

Click the File and Directory Restoration icon. Click a filename or directory to retrieve its backups. If restoring a backup of a file, locate the desired backup and click the Restore This Version button next to the file. If you wish to restore the entire directory, click the Restore This Directory button. Repeat for each file or directory you need to restore.

Hotlink protection prevents other websites from directly linking to certain files (typically images) on your website. You’ll want to prevent this if you have copyrighted images, or to simply save on bandwidth usage. Click the Hotlink Protection icon. Enter the Hotlink Protection confiurations: Verify that all domains and subdomains that you want to be able to Hotlink to your files or images are in the URLs to allow access field.
